Lim Thian Chin is currently the Head of Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) Protection at the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA). He leads a team that is responsible for building the cyber resiliency of the Nation's essential services across 11 CII sectors covering government, utilities, transport and services. His team works closely with sectoral regulators to strengthen the cyber resilience of CIIs, promotes confidence building measures and to deepen the public-private partnership between the government and CII stakeholders. Thian Chin has over 16 years of experience in Information & Technology governance, risk management, resilience and compliance. He also has experience in Operational Technology cybersecurity. Prior to joining CSA in August 2015, Thian Chin was responsible for the regional Technology Governance function in United Overseas Bank. Between 2008 - 2013, he led the Technology Risk function in GIC. Thian Chin holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University and is an alumnus of the George C Marshall European Center for Security Studies. He is certified as a CGEIT, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, CISA and SABSA practitioner.
