Marlene Ladendorff is a critical infrastructure cyber security professional specializing in industrial control system cyber security. Marlene’s focus is electrical grid and nuclear cyber security. She has implemented cyber programs at nuclear power plants in the United States and internationally. Most recently, she worked on the United Arab Emirates new construction project of four APR1400 nuclear reactors. Marlene holds a PhD in Computer and Data Security. Her dissertation focused on the effect of the North American Electric Reliability Standards on the reliability of the U.S. power grid. Her findings from that study inspired continuing research and publications from universities in the U.S. and other PhD students.
